We will be running 3 weeks of summer camp this year!

Week 1: August 12-August 16 “Mary Poppins” theme

Week 2: August 19-August 23: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” theme

Week 3: August 26-August 30: “Treasure Island” theme

You can also pay by cheque, cash or e-transfer! fill out THIS registration form and you will be invoiced for you camp total! (payment will need to be made in full before your child may come to camp. A minimum 25% deposit will be required to hold your camp spot.)

What is Musical Theatre Camp?

Our summer camp focuses on all aspects of the arts: we will sing, act, dance and craft to build a spectacular show for friends and families! All campers will get scripts, parts and lines, learn the basics of staging a play, work on their character building and acting skills, learn choreography, participate in vocal classes and learn songs, build sets, make props, get costumes and rehearse all week before performing! There are parts for everybody—no matter age and comfort on stage, we strive to make sure that every child is able to shine at their own comfort level!

Camp runs from 9am-4pm every day (accommodations for before/after care can be made for an extra cost. Must email info@shiningstarsperformingarts.com to book.)

Show will be on Friday at 4 pm.

Camp is for ages 4-12. Campers MUST BE 4 on the first day of camp.

Camp includes: all prop, set and staging, all costuming, a pizza cast party lunch on the Friday of camp.

Campers will be expected to bring: running shoes, dance shoes or closed tow shoes (no flip flops or sock feet will be allowed on stage), a water bottle, two nut-free snacks and a nut-free lunch, their script (after receiving it on the first day) and weather appropriate clothing (hats, sunscreen, rain jackets). Please DO NOT send electronic devices or toys from home.
